Prophetess Sue Jones, Biography
Prophetess Sue Jones was born in Kingston TN, to Pastor Gilbert Liggett and Overseer Mamie Liggett. She gave her life to Christ at age 12 and began serving in her Father's church that same year as Sunday school teacher and church pianist. Prophetess Sue always knew she was different even as a child and could easily hear God's voice and believed that everyone saw visions and Angels. It wasn't until her father told her that God had called her to be a Prophet to the nations and that He would use her mightily throughout her life.
An ordained minister since 1976 by Pastor Manford H. Polk and Bishop Milton Perry, Prophetess Sue Jones has held many titles throughout her life. She has been a nurse, a fashion model, body builder and an entrepreneur. Her ministry has taken her throughout most of the world teaching, preaching and sharing wisdom in her capacity as a modern day Life Coach.
She was a language major in college and attended seminary in Europe sponsored through the Church Of God; starting in Italy and finishing in Germany, when at that time only one other woman in that region had completed this uniquely difficult task. She was appointed as an Honorary Good Will Ambassador to NATO (National Allied Treaties Overseas) by the Chaplin of The United States Air Force, while living in Italy. She traveled between the Italian hospitals as a translator for the American Patients in Italy and Germany. Upon returning to the USA, Prophetess Sue became the first woman to be the keynote speaker for the Full Gospel Businessmen's Association. She established 3 half way houses in Tennessee going into different maximum security prisons as a counselor and acted as a liaison to the courts being brought in as an expert character witness.
Described as effervescent, Sue is a fresh voice as she preaches powerfully and teaches God's word while moving accurately in the gifts of the spirit. She moves effectively in deliverance while instructing God's people on how to discover their purpose and walk out their calling. She is a devoted prayer warrior and intercessor who believes in taking it by force.
Sue has a unique anointing that brings her before people from all walks of life; she has ministered to millionaires, celebrities, and fortune 500 corporate presidents. She was no stranger to putting on a hard hat and being flown by helicopter to the oil field of Texas to minister to some of today's major oil tycoons. She has been hired on many occasions to speak to corporate leaders on presenting poise, grace, etiquette and excellence in the market place.
She has always had a passion for politics and was no stranger to the halls of congress, lobbying to get funding for special interest groups. She was very close friends with Congressman/Mayor John Duncan Sr. and once when she missed a connecting flight in New Jersey, he sent a special helicopter to fly her in to speak at a hearing about gang violence. Sue was nominated by The Cambridge Institute in the category of "Who's Who among professional women in America" in 2007 and was declared to be an outstanding business woman to be watched.
She is the mother of four adult daughters and a grandmother. Prophetess Sue is the CEO and president of Bridgeway Productions and BBCJ Media Group, where she loves and manages her famous, radio/TV personality and entrepreneur husband, Big Brother CJ.
Prophetess Sue is one of the most sought after conference leaders and event coordinators today and has traveled extensively to put her mark of excellence on many ministry events. She has worked as special events coordinator, spearheading conferences, Pastor's Appreciations, banquets, fashion shows and has worked closely with several charity foundations to fight drug and substance abuse, bringing in such noted guests as Vickie Winnans, Sister Cantaloupe, Bill Winston, Ben Tankard, Daphne Reed, Less Brown and Tom Joyner just to name a few.
Sue is an officer of several organizations worldwide as well as an officer on several boards of directors. She is a member of International League of Women, International P K (Preacher's Kids) Association, Top Ladies of Distinction, Women of Destiny, The Prophetic Institute International, and has served as personal liaison and event coordinator to Dr. Shirley Holloway Johnson of Washington D.C. She has worked for several companies as entrepreneurial liaison and often connects entrepreneurs with private investors, walking the client through the door, doing the presentation and closing the deal. She writes a monthly column called Woman to Woman, scheduled to be picked up by two Christian magazines in 2009.
