Standing In The Vision Ministry Statement of Beliefs is an explanation of the foundation upon which this ministry is built, as well as information concerning what is being taught from pulpit and released over the airwaves and into the atmosphere.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that He alone has the power to forgive sins. We believe that He was crucified, died and was buried. On the third day, He arose from the dead, and ascended on high where He took His seat at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty until His enemies become His footstool.
We believe that He sent the Comforter, in the person of the Holy Spirit to dwell with us and in us and guide us until His return. We believe in the rapture, the catching up of the believers and that the dead in Christ will rise first and that those who are alive and remain shall be caught up to meet Jesus in the air.
We believe that after death, eternal life begins either in Heaven or in hell. We believe that where one spends eternity is a choice that we all make, it is decided by whether or not he/she has made the decision to receive Jesus Christ into his/her heart as Lord and Savior according to God's Word.
We believe in water Baptism after confession is made unto salvation. We believe that water baptism is symbolic of Christ's death, burial and resurrection. The dying of the old man and the resurrection (getting up to a new life in Christ) as the new man.
We believe in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking tongues. We believe that the Bible is the inspired, written, breathed Word of God. We believe in divine healing (which is the restoration of health to one who believes and acts on God's Word). We believe that every Christian has a God given right to partake of healing as part of the children's bread.
We believe in tithing 10% of all your increase and bringing offerings into the local church where you are being feed. We also believe in giving alms, and caring for the poor, the sick, the homeless, and the otherwise unfortunate.
We believe in the name of Jesus, and the authority invested in that name to bless, heal, restore, change, make whole and to prosper. We believe that the same authority is available to all that believe on that name and receive the power that comes in using the name of Jesus.
